Women’s History Month’s Feature: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Nigerian Novelist, Short Story Writer, and Non-Fiction Writer

Hello book lovers! In celebration of Women’s History Month, I would like to present to you, Nigerian novelist, short story writer, and non-fiction writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She has published multiple works some of which are under the name Amanda N. Adichie. Her first novel, Purple Hibiscus (2003) was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction (2004) and it also received the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best First Book (2005). Her second novel, Half of a Yellow Sun (2006) was adapted into a film (2014) by the same name by Biyi Bandele.
