Last weekend was nothing short of a jam packed fun filled time. On Friday, September 5, 2014, I went to Jazz Night in Southwest, Washington, DC at the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Before I could enjoy the jazz, I had to get some good food being sold in the basement of the church. That fish, macaroni and cheese, and sweet potato pie was oh so good. I was enjoying my meal and the music but I couldn't wait to grab a seat upstairs to be closer to all that good music.
Let's just say that Mark Meadows and his band ROCKED the house!
The jazz theme continued on Saturday, September 6, 2014 when I went to the Rosslyn Jazz Festival in Arlington, VA. The bands were awesome: Corey Wallace DUBtet, Ghost Train Orchestra, Red Baraat and Rebirth Brass Band!
