This was a very special month for me because it was my birthday month. It was a time for me to reflect on getting a year older and hopefully, a year wiser :-) It was also a month of giving thanks for everything that we hold so precious to us. Despite it all it, it was a month where we saw an election torn by policies and hate by all which will no doubt keep racism alive and well. And amidst it all, there was Hurricane Sandy that didn't care whether there was an election or whether we should be thankful as this was an Act of God that left many helpless and homeless in New Jersery and New York. But the strong will survive and if anything it showed the rest of the world that folks still have a heart as EMTs loaded their trucks from Maryland and folks from other states to see how they could help the folks in need.
So as I sit back and watch the year quickly coming to an end, it reminds me that I have to plan accordingly for 2013 to have a bountiful year. A year that will be filled with new opportunities for growth and I'm definitely looking forward to that!
