Today, I had a fantastic interview with Marc Medley, host of "The Reading Circle" which aired live at 6 am on WP88.7 FM and around the world through the webcast www.gobrave.org . Marc and I talked about the importance of reading and how it can transport you into another world. The words are what guide you on your travels as you embrace each setting filled with characters that you'll come to either love or hate. On Wednesday, May 21, 2014 Book Divas On Tour (featuring B. Swangin Webster, K.R. Raye and myself) appeared at the Charles County MWA Meeting. On a rainy evening, the room was filled with an engaged group of writers who were interested in hearing about our journey as writers and about the marketing and publishing industries.We had a great time and we hope to see them again very soon! Today, the Book Divas On Tour featuring B. Swangin Webster, K.R. Raye and myself appeared as guest speakers at "The Just Want to Get Away Retreat" hosted by Sharon Lucas, founder of the Reading Divas. The retreat was held at the beautiful Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa in Chesapeake Beach, MD. We had a wonderful time sharing our stories as authors before a fabulous group of ladies. After the discussion we were invited to hang out and listen to the speaker for the weekend, Cheryl Wood, mompreneur, FEARLESS success coach, and author. She rocked! It was a very beautiful day today and I had a blast at the Gaithersburg Book Festival. Got to hang out with some of my author friends and met some new ones too! Check out the pics!
